What's the basis for Isaac?

Like character basis? He's basically a mixture of every nasty villain I've ever been a fan of over the years. Heavily influenced by Randall Flagg from Stephen King's The Stand & Otis B. Driftwood from House of 1000 Corpses, along with an assortment of other baddies.

How far into season 3 of SoA are you?

I'm up to like the 5th or 6th episode, The Sons are leaving for Belfast. Shit is getting GOOD.

Project: SCAR, great stable or GREATEST stable?

The greatest of the motherfucking great. The stuff gore-streaked dreams are made of.

Addiction is a powerful thing, my good man. It spreads like a contagion, and SHOOT is rife with skull fuckery at this point. MJ started a raunchy revolution!

That's an incredibly personal question Drew.

Nope. Enormous.

ohhh.... you meant the House of 1000 Corpses character Tiny! Every family needs a humpbacked giant imo. My family has about three, one's in storage.

LOL. I'm surprised I didn't remember that. I now recall Otis & Baby talking about the stump fuckin. This drudges up memories of the chicken fucker from The Devil's Rejects too.

I doubt I'd fuck Otis's skull, I imagine it's full of baby rattlesnakes and other creepy crawlies. Baby is a different story. I should put together a tribute video to Baby's ass crack...plenty of footage to work with there.

Oh right, question...

What flavor toothbrush would Isaac use? Also, mouthwash?

Toothpaste Flavor? Bubblegum Mint

Mouthwash Flavor? Freshly squeezed virgin blood with just a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Excellent choice in mouthwash. I prefer Skull Marrow for toothpaste, but to each their own.

Isaac's gum of choice for those razor sharp bad boys?

Trident White of course! I reached out to the company hoping that Isaac could be their new spokesperson. Haven't heard back yet, but I'm optimistic.

I think it should have a personal item from each member...the season of giving calls for that level of dedication.

- Dirt from beneath Kenji's fingernails.
- A screwdriver from Corazon (dressed to look like Mr. Hankey)
- A couple of Isaac's pure white pubes

All from the heart, boys.

Skull fragments, for sure.

Actually, it is. Pygmies were some of the first people to ever ritually file down their own teeth. These days it's pretty big in the extreme body modification subculture. Google it sometime and you'll see some interesting results. There's a sideshow performer called "Lizard Man" who had it done, along with a shitload of other body mods.

I was gonna say Maddie Seton, but fucking Loc went and ruined that for me. :[   I'm drawing a blank right now. Most of my favorite actresses/females are definitely not virgins. :p

And Dube, any meal you can provide will be sufficient. Just make sure you whip up an extra batch of taters, cuz us SCAR boys love our taters.

Honestly I think they're natural. She uses various push-up tops to make them all perky-like and give them that implant look, but I'm usually pretty good about telling if titties are natural or fake...and I've got a hunch on this one.

Now there's a possibility she's using titty roids, but I won't get into that for legal reasons.

Ever been in a car accident?

Only once, and it didn't involve another car. I was driving along a little curvy country road, and I hit a patch of black ice and plowed through a barbwire fence and ended up in a cow pasture. It was my fault cuz I was going like 90mph. I used to speed constantly back when I first got my license.

I don't think I've ever caught a full episode. I remember seeing bits and pieces when I was young. I admit the sun baby was pretty cute, but global warming is no giggling matter.

Plus I remember a vacuum cleaner called "Nu Nu" that the Teletubbies would always abuse.

Title: Re: Ask an Albino
Post by: Entragian on September 11, 2011, 04:43:04 PM
Hey Jer,

Why did you come up with Isaac, opposed to someone a bit tamer?

The main reason is because I've always been a fan of the horror genre, that's what motivates me to write. I write what I know. If I tried to write a tame character I imagine my writing would be incredibly stale. Don't get me wrong, some people can write great tame characters...I just don't think I could pull it off.

What would make a character tame in your eyes?

I guess my definition of tame is a standard face character with morals, values, etc. I've never written a face in all my time in this game, so it would be like entering foreign territory.

Isaac actually had a son with Elizabeth Gaunt, I had him talk about it with Kenji once in an old storyline post. His son only lived for a few hours because he was born with deformities and major health complications. His name was Ivan.

Isaac actually had a son with Elizabeth Gaunt, I had him talk about it with Kenji once in an old storyline post. His son only lived for a few hours because he was born with deformities and major health complications. His name was Ivan.

I was hoping you'd retcon it and make his name Robert Paulson just for the end of that quote.

He'd be cool with most of that. BUT were you going to say "drinking her own blood" or "drinking her own pee" ? Cuz if it is pee, he'd kick her incontinent ass out of his bed and make her change the sheets before she leaves.

Not necessarily. She might drink her pee because she's incontinent, cuz she's constantly pissing herself and she doesn't wanna just sit around and let all that piss accumulate. Thus the drinking.

So we've seen where you've gotten your basis and inspiration for Issac as a character. I was reading the forums a few months back before I joined up again to check out some of your stuff as Jacob Delacroy. So I've read some of your Delacroy stuff and obviously all of your Issac stuff that I know of so the question is...

As a writer not restricted to Issac or Jacob and/or anything else you've played... who or what has been the most inspirational to you in bringing what you write to life? Authors, books, specific roleplays from other guys, etc...

In addition to that, what angle and/or type of character have you not written that you would love to write? (Personally some straight edged suit and tie guy would be awesome, just me.)

Lastly... Why the fuck are you a Redskins fan? I mean c'mon. <3

-Inspiration. I draw a great deal of my inspiration to write from Stephen King and a majority of his books, especially The Stand, since Entragian is loosely modeled after Randall Flagg, the main villain in that novel. I've always loved King villains, because they're so three dimensional and you can sometimes sympathize with them.

-The one character I would like to write is a face character. I legitimately don't know if I can write a face, because I've been all about the heel genre for so long...but I would like to try. Just a normal guy with strong values and willpower, someone like Trey or Coleman. A little known secret, some of you may remember promos for a character called Abel Blackwood. That was me, he was going to be my attempt at a face, but it fizzled out. I think only Josh knew I wrote him.

-Gotta love my Skins man. Here's how it was for me growing up...my mom's side of the family are diehard Washington fans, and my dad's side of the family are diehard Dallas fans. So I love both teams almost equally...I only ditch the skins when they play the Cowboys, because my love for Dallas overrides my loves for the Skins ever so slightly. Both teams struggle at times, and Romo grinds my fucking nerves to the bone...but I try to remain loyal despite how many times I'm disappointed. :p

Sounds like a recipe...for SUCCESS! Bear in mind though, Abel has a comatose wife...so we'll have to make it a love triangle. But between Maya's puppy dog eyes and Abel stroking the locket around his neck with his wife's picture....we would get MAD sympathy!

I'll be honest with you, I think the original Thing is an absolute classic. Some of the special effects in that movie are literally nauseating. I'll always consider it a creepy masterpiece, and I think it's perfect just the way it is. But the horror genre in particular has always been plagued with remakes, so I figured we might be getting this sooner or later. The previews haven't blown me away, but I'll check it out just to see how it stacks up to the original.

I've seen remakes of so many great horror movies, and the majority of the time I'm disappointed, so I guess I'll just wait and see.

If you could oversee the remake, would you have them go batshit crazy with those fucking disgusting effects in the 1982 version with Kurt Russell or have them lean towards the black and white one from...uhh...I think the 1950s where the horror was more subtle, it kinda had to be given the time period, and where you almost never actually see the "Thing"?

I've actually never seen the 1950s version. I'll have to check that one out. So this is a remake of a remake. :p I kinda liked the 1982 version effects because of how insanely disgusting they were. I've never seen effects quite like that before, and something about those effects made The Thing seems so fucking loathsome and horrid. I'd prolly blend some of the 1950 suspense in with a few shots of the extreme nastiness of the 1982 version, because I think those nasty effects really play into the mythos.

I fell deeply in love with that movie.  It was the first movie I owned to make the transition to Blu Ray first chance I could get.  Even my Dad and Mom (who hates when movies don't have happy endings) love it.

Favorite Slasher Film Killer?

It's actually split evenly between Freddy & Jason. I like Jason because he's a big, practically unstoppable machine, and I like Freddy because he's so fucking evil but he also has a great sense of humor.

In that case what did you think of Freddy Vs Jason?

That's one of my favorite movies. Most people thought it was pretty campy, but the idea of two horror icons battling it out like that made me salivate. I'd like to see more movies like Freddy vs Jason

Very epic...& hilarious! Plus the whole fight at the end gave me goosebumps. Freddy's facial expression when he was brought out of the dream world into the real world was amazing. That was the best "OH SHIT" face ever.

I know. Plus I love Jason at the cornfield rave and how the movie kept emphasizing Freddy's "Ownership" of the Elm Street Kids and how Jason wasn't supposed to keep killing them. Really showed the mindset that led him to the path to what Krueger is now. Freddy sees these people as his toys. You can play with one or two if he says so but don't go grabbing without his direct consent.

I think it has mad potential. I've never seen a concept like this one turned into a series, so I'm def going to follow it closely. It has a similar vibe to Nip/Tuck (for obvious reasons) and the story has me interested so far. I would highly recommend it.

FX is a channel after my own heart. Along with It's Always Sunny & SOA...this is the one channel I could never do without.

Oh man....that's tough. I've seen some terrible horror movies. Years ago I watched this movie called Vampires vs Zombies, thought it would be the typical B-Grade horror flick....turned out it was a F-Grade horror flick. The celluloid equivalent of literal shit.

In most cases I much prefer the Japanese originals. Like for example I HATED the Americanized version of The Grudge. Japanese horror doesn't need to be remade, it's some of the sickest shit out there, that's what makes it awesome. One of the only American remakes of Japanese horror I've enjoyed is The Ring. I felt like they did pretty well with that one and it turned out suitably creepy.

I remember this one movie called Tokyo Gore Police that just went totally insane with the nastiness. You know what you're getting when the word gore is in the title of the film. :p The premise itself was strange as fuck, but I remember just ridiculous amounts of blood spurting from ragged wounds and mutations that would make scenes from the 80s version of The Thing look tame.

And on top of all that, it was just so fucking weird. That's why I like most Japanese horror, instead of remaking shit they come up with some of the most original and bizarre ideas I've ever seen in my life.

Only one that I can think of off the top of my head. Philosophy of a Knife. I hated that fucking movie SO much. It was boring as shit and interspersed with some of the most repulsive stuff ever. The idea behind it wasn't bad, but the execution was terrible.

And I've heard Visitor Q compared to Ichi The Killer before, but I've never seen it and I don't know much about it. Might have to do some googling!

Same director, Miike, but they're somewhat incomparable as they are somewhat different beasts. Both disturbing, but not quite for the same reasons. Although, Visitor Q sheds new light on necrophilia and rape. Sometimes at the same time.

Visitor Q is messed up because watching the whole thing was like this giant desensitization process. At first it's like, "Did that dude just pay his daughter, a hooker, to have sex with him... what the fuck?" and it just gets progressively worse until you're laughing because he gets his dick stuck in a dead news reporter, due to rigor mortis, who is dead because he accidentally killed her when he tried to rape her.

I don't think so. If so, I don't recall the promotion.

I thought New Nightmare was badass. I especially liked Freddy's new look, they tweaked his style just a little and it managed to make him even more sinister.

What is your favorite Freddy Kruger film?

oh man...that fucking remake was atrocious. Freddy looked like a charbroiled alien, and the whole movie was just a completely different animal compared to previous Nightmare films. I liked Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors best of all. Neat concept, and there were some awesome kills in that one....especially liked the meat puppet/marionette kill.

Only if you're really hurting for a movie one night. I just didn't find it entertaining. And I really like Jackie Earl Hayle, but with the shitty make-up and the predictable scares, he could only do so much to improve the film. Englund made Krueger into the evil, charismatic figure that he is today, so those are huge shoes to fill, and I don't think any other actor can duplicate his peformance.

If Issac got married, who'd be in his wedding party?

Of course Kenji & Corazon would both have the highest profile roles in the wedding. Diamante would be a VIP as well. Frank Garvin from LEGACY & Greg Allocca would also be high up on the list. Pretty much any heel on the roster would be invited. (the ones Isaac can tolerate, anyways)

Maddie Seton as the flower girl! (and if things go well, might be able to get her into the honeymoon mix ;] )

Nah I left the casino several months ago Rob. And they're constantly renovating and adding new things, so you'll likely have a few fresh sights to see next time you go. There's a new steak restaurant, a Sky Lounge, several new additions added in the last year that I was there.

The Shoe still stands! lol. It's known in our area as one of the "anything goes" clubs because there are no cameras and the chicks there are always pushing to do *ahem* EXTRA favors besides just lap dances and privates.

You mean the handler or the character? I'll go with handler.

First time I went to a strip club I was 18 years old and had just started working at the casino. It was The Shoe, the one Rob is familiar with. Like Rob mentioned, there are some nasty bitches in that club, but amongst the crud there are about four of five hotties working there on any given night.

I remember some ugly ass brunette trying to get me to do a private with her. Her sales pitch was "I want to cum all over your pant's leg." After vomiting in my mouth a little I was like "Hell nah." If memory serves the night ended with me getting my first lap-dance from a really yummy blonde with big ass natural titties...which I could not stop squeezing (you can touch in that club)

but yeah, my buddies & I have been to most of the clubs around here over the years. Strangely enough I was even fucking one of the younger girls who worked at Divas for about 2 1/2 months. That turned out to be a rollercoaster ride of drama tho.

Any chance that question was asked during the Ivory Terror's first trip to a strip club?

lol. I considered tipping a few of the girls with oatmeal cookies, but I figured it wouldn't go over well.

If memory serves the night ended with me getting my first lap-dance from a really yummy blonde with big ass natural titties...

I bet I know who you're talking about. Can't remember her name, but it started with an "A", I think.

(you can touch in that club)

Had I known that, maybe I would've done the $35 private dance. I'm assuming you're not talking about just the regular lap dance...

Strangely enough I was even fucking one of the younger girls who worked at Divas for about 2 1/2 months. That turned out to be a rollercoaster ride of drama tho.

HA, talk about sarcasm!

She in any of your facebook albums?

It might have been the same one. I haven't been to The Shoe in quite awhile, but I remember back in the day they had some really cute NATURALLY busty girls there. Refreshing compared to implants...

Nah only girls I've dated are in my facebook pics, this chick and I never exclusively dated, more of a sexual thing/friends with benefits type of situation. Her body was fucking amazing, curves on top of curves, but she had some issues in her personal life that irritated me.

She was addicted to major pain killers like percs & oxys...and she wanted to pull me into that whole lifestyle and get me to pop pills with her, but I don't mess around with that shit, so had to eject from the situation.

At least I got to hit it for about two months. I can mark "bang a stripper" off my bucket list. :p

Mostly there are actresses on my bucket list when it comes to females I would love to tag.

-Fairuza Balk
-Maggie Siff
-Connie Britton

etc etc.

Of course those will never happen, but a guy can dream.

Also I'd like to bang a drum at some point in my life. In the traditional sense though. ;]

Not a fan of implants. They feel fake, and from certain angles they look weird. I prefer natural.

I can't comment on the "feel fake" aspect (though I'm hoping to someday find out)

I would like to get an idea of which angles you think they look weird from.

Can't fault you for preferring natural though.

I should clarify. I don't dislike all implants, on the contrary certain boob jobs look just about as perfect as the real thing.

But some girls just don't have the body type necessary for large tits. I especially cringe when I see a rail-thin girl with big fake titties, because I just don't find that attractive.

Here's an example of the angle issue: In my entire life I've only had sex with one girl who had implants, a cocktail waitress that worked at the casino...and for a long time I never even realized it. I never noticed while she was standing up topless, or even when lying on her back topless...

but here's when I noticed, and you'll see this in porn sometimes too with chicks who have implants...during doggy. You happen to glance at her from the side while she's bent over, and you see that her boobs don't hang as natural boobs do, instead they remain kinda stationary and you see the slightest indentation where the implant is. Just looks a little odd. And don't get me wrong on the "feel" side of it, they still feel great, but I find a natural boob is much softer. With a fake boob you encounter just a little resistance while squeezing.

You do, and essentially you can choose whatever you like as a game piece. The possibilities are endless. It's a game of many stages chocked full of emotional and physical trauma along with brief periods of good sportsmanship and wine sipping.

You mentioned Kane is returning in the mask. From the promo I saw last night, it looks like he's uncertain whether he'll wear the same mask. He set the thing on fire. What's your take on the fact that the promo ended with the mask en fuego?
Title: Re: Ask an Albino
Post by: Entragian on December 06, 2011, 12:33:56 PM
So far WWE has kept it pretty vague, and I like that, adds a tinge of mystery to the whole thing.

And I'm not 100% certain he'll be returning with the mask, it's just a vibe I get. The assumption I'm going with is this: In Kane's final promo before being injured, he mentioned the fact that he was being plagued by his own humanity, and he wanted to purge that humanity to reawaken the monster within. That night he lost to Orton (in a great/close match) and later got injured by Henry.

So I'm looking at it like this is Kane's opportunity to exorcise his humanity, because he views the mask as a symbol of power and strength, much like Taker's urn. It dehumanizes him, helps him to become that unstoppable machine that he was in his early years.

There's so much symbolism in those little promos, like the mirror smashing to indicate he's unhappy with his own reflection, and the flaming mask that you mentioned. That last part still puzzles me a little, but I'm thinking the flaming mask symbolizes that he's burning away his past so that he can walk a new path. (You'll notice that he also burns a picture of himself unmasking in one of the promos too)

But here are my overall thoughts on the scenario: I'm a Kane fan to the bitter end. I know people are always crying and whining about how "kane's weak without the mask, he needs the mask back, blah blah blah." I never buy into any of that, and I never will. As long as Kane's back I'll be happy, mask or no mask.

Now on the other side of the coin, I think the idea to re-mask is definitely cool and it'll give Kane a fresh look and it'll definitely get a great reaction from Attitude Era fans who grew up watching masked Kane.

I'm banking on seeing Kane return with a new half-mask, probably with a design similar to his very first full mask, along with the black towel draped over his head. Maybe even a new theme song. Regardless, I think it'll be a lot of fun to see how the whole thing plays out from a Kane fan perspective.

You dont want the original theme?

I feel like this is an opportunity to update the whole gimmick, like outfit, mask, music...so I'd prefer a new theme. I'd love it if they took excerpts from the original theme though and worked that into the new song.

Gorgon all the way.

It'd take me at least a month to wash all the syphilis outta the skull of the dude who fucked Chyna. Her syphilis has evolved to the point where it travels through both brain and bone, so can't be too careful there...

-Sarah Palin
-George W.

-Dick Cheney
-Ralph Nader

-Al Gore

Clinton would emerge victorious and get a post-match BJ from Monica as a celebratory prize.

Not sure if this has been asked.

Did you handle other characters in SHOOT prior to Isaac?

I did.

-Jacob Delacroy: Inspired by the character "T-Bag" from Prison Break. He was racist, disgusting, just a piece of garbage human being.
-Sepulcher: Stupid idea overall, won't bore you with details. Just supposed to be like a big, weird dude.

I never really found my stride with those characters, and I always struggled to write material for them. With Entragian it's just as easy as tapping into a vein, but writing them was always a chore.

He's about the same weight & height as Kane (who is actually my favorite WWE wrestler). He has the musculature of Sheamus. In terms of wrestling style, the closest I could come would be Kane + Taker's move-sets combined. I always make sure he has some good submissions and a variety of different moves to utilize because I don't want him to come across as a boring, plodding big man.

I always pictured him physically as a slightly more lanky version of Kane... almost like The Undertaker from around the time he started in WWF or a few years later... though with less slow-plodding.

Mentality-wise, I always saw Issac a lot like Kane

on a serious note, no clue. I'm guessing the girl will just serve as a creepy messenger. A large part of me feels like it's Jericho, but then on the other side of the coin it still feels a little too creepy for Jericho. I'll mark like a mothafucka if it is him, but I guess we'll see.

Haven't seen that preview yet, but an absolute yes for Rafi back in the league.

I was cracking up during the "Bobbum Man" episode where they're kicking the shit outta the guy in the alley only to find out that it's Andre, and Rafi just runs up and starts kicking the dude without even caring who it is. Then they tell him it's Andre, and he kicks him even harder.

Correct you are, sir. I love King, and I've read pretty much everything he has out there. His stuff definitely inspires me to write.

When I created Isaac, I borrowed the last name Entragian from the possessed cop in Desperation. My favorite King character is Randall Flagg from The Stand & The Dark Tower series. If I could describe Isaac's personality, it would be a mix of Randall Flagg & Otis Driftwood from The Devil's Rejects. I especially like them because they're evil fucks, but they also add elements of dark humor into the mix.

Are you in fact a Brony?

Speaking of hardcore Care Bears. Have you seen the video where a female puts a strap-on on her Care Bear and "plays" with it?

I have not seen that. Typical Care Bear behavior though....always spreading the love!

I don't want to see it, but I am interested to know which Care Bear it was.

So would it be a sin city champion bear?

If it's a Maya bear then it would be a Rules of Surrender bear.

Would it also come with a Sin City belt, since it once held that too?   Maybe a whole collection of belts come with the Maya Bear.  Maya Bears clearly are a type that'd like to accessorize.

I think so. Each week a new belt, each week a new fashion statement for Maya bear. It'll also come with a nose bandana.

I actually haven't picked it up yet, I'm thinking I'll finish the Game of Throne series before I jump into the 8th Tower book.

And when it comes to the Marvel graphic novels, I read the first three hardcover volumes of the Tower series, but as of late I haven't been following them as closely as I should. However I have read every single hardcover volume of Marvel's The Stand, and that was an especially awesome take on King's work.
