Now that they've disappointed me with Doink, they can go the full mile and go get Goldust again.

However, they absolutely should have Madusa/Alundra Blayze kick Heath's ass.

Saw a little bit of Smackdown:Great American Bash.  Completely forgot it was a "Live Supershow!" tonight... I'll probably finish the rest tomorrow.

Watched the rest of Smackdown: Great American Bash earlier.  The 20-Man battle royal was pretty tight.  Did NOT expect Ryder to come away with the win that also saw John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Big Show, and Kane competing in it.

Smackdown: Sad that a two-hour "holiday throw-away" SmackDown is better than the "MUST-SEE" Three-Hour RAWs. Not because there isn't stupid comedy skits. There are. Just that it seems when they do get to the matches, the matches are more entertaining.

That said: Where is the line to make out with AJ because I think Kane, CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan have had their fair share.

The Doink mark-out ended when it wasn't Evil Doink.

Not totally, but it certainly didn't end with a problem in the pants.

That was probably due to whatever I watched on the computer while it was going on.

Not that....

nevermind.

And yes... DOINK!!!!!!!

And a guy who's actually in my top 10.... D... D... P!!!!!!!!!!!

The second hour of Impact. No band practice this week, so I actually got to watch the second hour of the show (unfortunately, I forgot it was on for the first hour). I tuned in during the KO tag match to see Tara's booty fill up my screen.

YEAH-UH!!!

Anyway, really solid-as-hell go-home show. Kenny King and Johnny Yuma were in the Gut Check challenge with King picking up the win and, by all accounts, he impressed the right people, especially since he was trending worldwide on Twitter due to appearing on TNA while one half of the ROH Tag champs.

He's since been released from ROH due to him going back on a handshake agreement that he told ROH management wasn't something he planned on honoring due to it being a bad deal. I find the irony in this to be greatly amusing given ROH's early kayfabe emphasis on the Code of Honor.

1. ROH is starting to circle the drain for real. Fan support is at an all-time low, show quality is at an all-time low, and there's only a few people on the roster worth watching...and they all do better work elsewhere (PWG, Japan) that's cheaper to see.

2. Kenny King, a friend of Austin Aries, is likely going to be signed by TNA in no time and given how well everything's been booked overall lately? That makes me extremely happy.

Also, the Hardy/Storm ME was good. Hardy going over, especially via surprise finish (Storm was coming in and KICK-WHAM-TWIST-OF-FATE), was actually great booking long AND short-term: Storm leads the BFG series with 30 points and Hardy was trailing behind him quite a bit so Hardy NEEDED the win, Storm's likely going to be the one to dethrone Bobby Roode at BFG (to cap off an angle that's been constant since the build to last year's BFG), so now Storm has a true built-in challenger in the form of Jeff Hardy who's proved he can beat Storm clean.

Top to bottom, opener to closer, one of the best wrestling cards of the last few years. Generico/Togo is a solid ****, the main event of Appetite for Destruction (Kevin Steen and Super Dragon) against the Young Bucks (Generation Me from TNA, Nick and Matt Jackson) is probably ****1/2, and the worst match on the card is the 8-person tag that still features plenty of really, really fun spots and crowd interaction (I'd also probably rate it at **3/4).

Apparently, MitB was a dreadful show outside of Punk/Bryan. This doesn't surprise me one bit.

This is the first summer since '07 where I can't think of a single reason to tune in to WWE. '08 had the awesome Jericho/HBK feud, '09 had Punk/Hardy, '10 had Nexus, '11 was the WWE-ized Summer of Punk, and this year should be quality with Punk/Bryan/AJ but everything else on the show is fucking terrible.

What I truly love is that the Raws were ending with AJ/Bryan/Punk, and yet MITB ends with Cena.

RAW. I can't imagine how awesome it must have been for Rikishi to be in the ring dancing with his sons.

Impact!  I'm intrigued, but wary of Aces and Eights, but LOVE the name.

I watched Impact for the first time in, like, ninety years!

It was decent.
