Scott needs to come up with his own.  You've ruined his chance at that recipe.

Back on topic...

Dear Freakshow...

If Westerners throw rice at weddings, do Asians throw hot dogs?

Uhh... maybe?  Though its not good to throw rice as birds eating it will die when the rice expands in their bird bellies.  So better to throw a seed of some sort.  one of my best friends got married this summer and they did "bubbles".

I thought it was Alka-Seltzer that did that.

I decided to research this.  This is actually an urban legend, that was hugely helped by Ann Landers, who in the mid 60's said it'd do bad things to birds, and since its widely been replaced with whatever people use now the Legend has been perpetuated .  Here is a question from nytimes.com

Quote
Rice and Birds

Q. Is it true that rice thrown at weddings is bad for birds?

A. "No, it's bad for people," said Heidi Hughes, an ornithologist with the American Backyard Bird Society of Jefferson, Md.

Most churches prefer that something other than rice be thrown because most birds do not really like rice, she said, and the uneaten rice lies on the sidewalk, perhaps getting wet and slippery and leading to accidents.

It is only a myth that uncooked rice expands and explodes in the bird's crop, Ms. Hughes said. "If you told rice growers in the bayous, where birds are crop pests, that rice hurts birds, they would laugh at you," she said. However, she explained, the birds that show up at weddings are not the wetland species that flock to rice paddies, but birds like pigeons, finches and chickadees, which would rather feed on something else.

Should I trade LeBron James for Andre Iguodala and Brook Lopez in my fantasy basketball league?

My centers are Ilgauskas and Andrew Bogut, and I've also got Gerald Wallace as a forward.

So YOU'RE the guy with a Buck on his fantasy team!  I knew there was a reason to like you!  Besides the whole "letting me be here" thing.

Hey Scotty, Isn't it cool Josh has Andrew Bogut?

I took a big chance on him when I drafted him, haha.  He hadn't even been cleared to play yet, but last year I had a big deficiency in the rebounding category and I figured if nothing else, he'd get those.

I would have to take into account how your league is won (head to head vs. roto) - plus admittedly I know little about B-Lo.
