To get in on some post-whoring of my own, I am starting my own thread here, full of random thoughts, quotes, and otherwise abnormal things.

To kick things off, why do they call them fingers, when you've never seen them fing?

I saw something on the ESPN crawl the other day and I didn't catch what they were talking about, nor have I watched much sports the past few days.

Posada threw a hissy before their Saturday Night game. He had gotten bumped down to 9th in the order, and in general has been struggling with the conversion to being a DH. So after the lineups were in he said "his back hurt", but basically pulled himself from the game.

It sucks, but its understandable.
