In the end. They cancelled the Fireworks as the weather was forecast to be stormy...It's not however.

So after our meal, we came home rewatched Raw (Which she hadn't seen yet.) Then about 11:45 we ent and sat on the beach, popped open a bottle of Prosecco, listened to the waves and watched the stars until 12:05 and came home. Not a bad evening...Although we got sat next to a SMARK in the restaurant; who was openly complaining about wrestling to his friends and wife, none of whom cared about what he was saying. To a point he threw a little strop.

I'll talk about that in more detail later, if anyone is interested. Made me laugh anyway. I was like of all the people to be sat near, a fucking smark.

Strop = being stroppy.  So like a childish tantrum.

A strop is also a leather strap used for straight razor care.

Remember when the world was supposed to end in '12?

Here's to more "post-apocalyptic" years!
