Dube, did you totally just mock El Asso Wipo? He is not going to be happy when he sees this.
That's his problem.
Thoughts on krods tweet and prince saying he wont be back.. And their timing?
K-Rod: Obviously the dude wants to close, that's where the $$$ is. Yes, Milwaukee said he'd get save chances and in that sense they've been bush league; although the disclaimer on that is "when Axford needs a rest." He and Ax are used in the same game almost all the time, so when Ax needs a rest, K-Rod would as well. However, telling a guy he can get saves and not use him for any--that's kind of low. However, K-Rod's being a goofball coming public with this. If anything, Roenicke needs to pull K-Rod aside and say, "Don't talk to the media. Talk to me." With the way Milwaukee's been playing lately, there won't be many save chances the rest of the way to complain about.
Prince: This isn't news. Everyone knows he won't be in Milwaukee next year and have known that for the past couple seasons. It just happens to be brought out now. Someone asked him the question and instead of saying, "You never know" and giving false hope, he's being honest. It's only a story because he reiterated what he's always been saying, while there's a playoff race. If Milwaukee isn't in the race, there's probably no article.
Timing: I'm sure the clubhouse knows the deal with both guys. They should be big boys. If this really causes a problem and disrupts their play, they don't deserve to win the division.
