It isn't news, but it IS poorly timed.  KRod will get a chance ot close next season.

K-Rod DID look pretty happy after his appearance last night (after his 3rd out, not the obvious post-game stuff).  Maybe he had a talk with someone.

This. Inquiring minds want to know.

There is a special providence in the fall of a sparrow. If it be now, 'tis not to come; if it be not to come, it will be now; if it be not now, yet it will comeā€”the readiness is all.

In the future.  Maybe.  If we're able to keep interest enough to keep this going.

Uh.  I don't know.  But thanks for asking.  I think.  :-\

At least this is asked in a more humane way.  Probably the same time Project: SCAR triple teams Maddie.

Rooting for: Atlanta and Tampa.
Expecting: St. Louis and Boston.  I'd appreciate if the Phils could lay down for Atlanta.

Whenever he hits a huge home run, he usually looks to the Brewer dugout with a smug expression while walking a few steps to first.

When he hit a HR to break the Brewer single-season rookie HR mark (or maybe tie), he walked maybe a quarter of the way down the line while looking at Fielder in the dugout--I'd post a vid but I can't find one.  After his HR Friday, he holds the bat up after hitting the ball, gets the smug look and walks a few steps.  Yeah, it was celebration mode with the last one--but I'm still surprised with baseball's 'unwritten rules' that he didn't get plunked the next night.

Personally, I think it's cool and of course not close to the douchy-ness of what Bryce Harper can pull--just curious on an 'outsider's' opinion.

I have not partaken in 'celebration' since I was a senior in high school (fall of 1998 for those keeping score).

If I did, I would do what my parents are doing.  Going to morning service, then lunch.  Of course, I wouldn't be working today either.  Man, I miss getting that day off of school :(

At the risk of Evil/Dark Dube showing up, I'll quickly say:

Ticket taker.

Would you be interested in a promotion? We have juggler positions open.

Wholesome family fun!

We use severed heads though, so make sure you wash your hands after each performance ;]

I totally read that as "jugular".

Not that it really makes a lick of difference in the context.

In La-La Land.

I probably would have said "No" if I saw this before today; not just "no" because I don't think the series gets back to Milwaukee.

It's not because of a lack of ticket(s) but because of parking.  You pretty much *have* to have purchased a pass in advance in order to park.  AND after the game they actually enforce the "Get out of the lot after an hour" rule--I don't like leaving until traffic is extremely light (read: About 90 minutes after a game) because I don't do well in heavy traffic.  The route I take involves two extremely congested areas after a game.  This is a reason why I wish Milwaukee was big enough to have a subway system.  It's so much easier to deal with things when you just have to park at a far-off station, as I learned in DC and Philly.

are you nervous?
I just didn't want to lose to St. Louis.  I wouldn't have cared if it was Philly.  St. Louis irritates me.  At this point, down 2-1 with a crappy Randy Wolf and a not-so-good-on-the-road Greinke--I'm scared Prince may have already played his final game at Miller Park as a Brewer.
