Josh Hamilton once went through 100,000 in about 6 weeks, and capped all that off by pawning his wife's wedding ring to get high

Jay Z and Beyonce were down in the pit at Coldplay's performance at Glastonbury today... rocking out and singing along.

Unloading was my favorite job at Lowe's, honestly.  The least amount of stress, least amount of rules, and you didn't even have to wear a vest.  It was awesome.

Plus I lost 80 pounds in 6 months.  That was pretty sweet too.

Meat Loaf is in Wayne's World. I never noticed his cameo before.

Well to each their own. But when you are doing it at the last minute (as in you find out when you get there) because they underschedule their unloaders and you thus suck at the job as it's not one you do often. It sucks.

Jose Reyes' 15 triples so far this season would have led the NL in 20 of the last 25 seasons.

To be a good defense lawyer, just talk about random bullshit that serves only to confuse a jury.

I wouldnt say 'learned today' but more like 'remembered today' that I'm actually good at poker (as I havent played in a while). Just won a satellite tourny besting 448 other players. Next is a field of 1000.

Learned that if I multiply an hourly wage by 2087, it comes up with an annual salary.

Something I feel like I SHOULD have known, but didn't.

Why 2087 and not 2080?

that before Derek Jeter did it today,  Wade Boggs was the only player in MLB history who's 3000th hit was a home run.

Why 2087 and not 2080?

I meant to reply to this, but I honestly have no answer.  The number was posted on a government job website as the number to multiply by when figuring an annual salary, so maybe that has something to do with it.
