UWA WEEKLY — WEEK 8
March 23–27, 2026 | Inaugural UWA Television Champion Crowned
Resistance: Uprising
Philadelphia, PA — Monday, March 23, 2026
Opening Segment: "History Tonight"
The 2300 Arena was electric. Tonight, the first-ever UWA Television Champion would be crowned. Judge James Morgan stood in the ring, flanked by a display case holding the brand-new UWA Television Championship belt. Gold faceplate. Black leather strap. Simple. Clean. A fighter's title.
Morgan: "Tonight, six competitors will enter this ring in a battle royal. Only one will leave as the inaugural UWA Television Champion. But first, we need our sixth and final qualifier. Last week, five men earned their spots: Tommy Vance. Zephyr Vance. Sebastian Grey. Dead Eyez. Duke Morrison."
The crowd buzzed. Morgan continued.
Morgan: "Tonight's final qualifier will be decided right here on Resistance. Two men who have been through wars. Two men looking for a fresh chapter. Alexei Volkov... versus Captain Maximum."
The arena ERUPTED. Volkov, the new babyface finding his path. Captain Maximum, the former World Champion rebuilding after losing the title at New Year's Revolution. Only one advances.
Match One: UWA Television Championship Qualifier
Alexei Volkov vs. Captain Maximum
UWA Television Championship Qualifier — Final Spot
Two former world champions. One spot in the battle royal. The crowd was split, chanting for both men.
Maximum opened fast. Clotheslines. Shoulder tackles. He wanted to establish power early. Volkov absorbed every hit, nodding slowly. The old Volkov would have exploded with rage. This Volkov was measured. Patient. Calculating.
Volkov caught a charging Maximum with a knee lift. Snap suplex. European uppercut that echoed through the arena. Maximum stumbled but fired back with a lariat that turned Volkov inside out! Cover! ONE! TWO! Volkov powered out!
The pace slowed. Technical exchanges. Volkov locked in a bear hug. Maximum fought free with elbows, hit the ropes, and connected with a flying forearm. Both men down. The referee counted.
At eight, both men rose. Maximum went for his finisher. Volkov ducked! Iron Curtain attempt! Maximum blocked! Backslide! ONE! TWO! Volkov kicked out!
Both men to their feet. Volkov caught Maximum with a stiff right hand. Another. Maximum wobbled. Iron Curtain! CONNECTED! Cover! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner: Alexei Volkov via pinfall (12:38) — ADVANCES TO BATTLE ROYAL
Volkov stood, breathing hard. The crowd cheered. The man who terrorized Holden Nobody for months was now earning the fans' respect through honest competition.
He reached down and helped Captain Maximum to his feet. Maximum looked at him for a long moment, then nodded. No handshake. Not yet. But an acknowledgment. Progress.
Six qualifiers are set: Tommy Vance, Zephyr Vance, Sebastian Grey, Dead Eyez, Duke Morrison, Alexei Volkov.
Backstage: Holden Nobody was watching the monitor in his locker room, both world championships hanging on hooks behind him. Interviewer Sarah Mitchell entered. "Holden, tonight is historic. Any predictions for the battle royal?" Holden studied the screen. "Six guys who all fight for different reasons. Tommy wants more gold. Zephyr wants redemption. Dead Eyez just wants violence. Grey and Morrison want shortcuts. And Volkov..." He paused. "Volkov wants to prove he's more than the monster he used to be. That's dangerous. A man with something to prove is always dangerous." He looked at the camera. "Whoever wins that title tonight, I respect them. Because the Television Championship is about one thing: fighting. And every single one of those guys can fight."
Match Two: Women's Division
Rosa Guerrera vs. Savannah Stone
Non-Title Match
Rosa was dominant from the opening bell. Hurricanrana. Springboard crossbody. She was wrestling with urgency, sending a message to whoever was watching.
Savannah, the Accord Initiative rookie, showed heart. She survived longer than expected, kicking out of two near-falls and even landing a dropkick that sent Rosa into the corner. But experience won out.
La Rosa Negra! Savannah tapped!
Winner: Rosa Guerrera via submission (6:14)
Rosa released the hold and helped Savannah up. Respectful nod to the rookie. Then the lights dimmed.
A figure appeared at the top of the ramp. Leather jacket. Dark hair pulled back. Confident stride. Valentina Reyes.
The woman from the vignette last week was HERE. In person. At the 2300 Arena.
Valentina walked slowly to the ring, never breaking eye contact with Rosa. She stepped through the ropes and stood face to face with the Women's Champion.
Valentina: "You don't know me yet. But you will. I grew up watching you, Rosa. Studying you. You inspired me to become a wrestler. And now?" She smiled. "Now I'm here to take your championship."
Rosa: "Respect is earned in this ring. Not on a video screen."
Valentina: "Then let me earn it. April. Your championship. Me and you."
Rosa studied her for a long beat. Then extended her hand. "April. Be ready."
They shook hands. Valentina held Rosa's grip just a beat too long, then smiled and left. The challenge has been accepted. Rosa Guerrera vs. Valentina Reyes. April PPV.
Match Three: Tag Team Division
The Young Hounds (Ricky Vicious & Danny Stryker) vs. The Ivy League (Paulie Princeton & Harry Harvard)
Tag Team Match
The Young Hounds needed a statement win. They've been chasing The Compound for weeks, and tonight was about proving they belong in the conversation.
It was a demolition. Ricky hit a snap suplex on Princeton. Danny followed with a diving elbow. Double superkick on Harvard! The Ivy League never had a chance.
Pack Mentality (aided brainbuster)! Cover! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winners: The Young Hounds via pinfall (5:47)
Ricky grabbed a mic, standing over the fallen Ivy League.
Ricky: "Compound! You survived Battlelines. Barely. You survived last week. Barely. But you can't keep surviving forever."
Danny: "April. Both sets of tag titles. We don't just want the Resistance championships. We want the UWA World Tag Team Championships too. ALL of them."
Ricky: "And we're going to take them. Because Hounds don't stop hunting until they eat."
The Compound, watching backstage, looked at each other. Webb's head was still bandaged. Black was still nursing his ribs. They're champions, but they're not healthy. And the Hounds are relentless.
Victor Stone's Office: The GM was on his phone, speaking in hushed tones. "I understand. Yes. The battle royal is tonight. No, Morgan suspects nothing." He noticed a camera crew approaching and hung up abruptly. "What? I'm busy. Get out." He slammed the door. Who was he talking to? What is Victor Stone planning?
Main Event: Inaugural UWA Television Championship Battle Royal
UWA Television Championship — Six-Man Battle Royal
Participants: Tommy Vance, Zephyr Vance, Sebastian Grey, Dead Eyez, Duke Morrison, Alexei Volkov
All six men stood in the ring. The UWA Television Championship hung above the ring on a display hook. Judge Morgan stood at ringside. This was history.
The bell rang and chaos erupted.
Duke Morrison and Sebastian Grey immediately found each other. The Monarchy member and the High Society member formed an alliance, double-teaming Alexei Volkov in the corner. Smart strategy. Take out the biggest threat first.
Tommy Vance and Dead Eyez locked up in the center of the ring. Two men who live for violence. Stiff forearms. Headbutts. Neither gave an inch. Zephyr Vance used his speed, bouncing off the ropes and hitting a dropkick that sent Morrison stumbling into Grey.
Volkov powered out of the corner. He grabbed Grey by the throat. Morrison tried to save his ally. Volkov swatted him away. IRON CURTAIN ON GREY! The High Society member crumpled. Volkov lifted him and THREW him over the top rope!
Sebastian Grey eliminated by Alexei Volkov.
Morrison charged Volkov from behind. Low blow attempt! Volkov saw it coming! He caught Morrison's arm, spun him around, and launched him over the top rope with raw power! Morrison crashed to the floor!
Duke Morrison eliminated by Alexei Volkov.
The crowd went WILD. The cheaters were gone. Four fighters remained.
Tommy Vance hit Dead Eyez with a running knee. Dead Eyez barely flinched. He grabbed Vance by the throat and drove him into the corner. Forearms. Elbows. Dead Eyez was in his element. This was a fight, and fighting is all he knows.
Zephyr and Volkov squared off. Two men on redemption arcs. Volkov's power versus Zephyr's speed. Zephyr ducked a clothesline and hit an enzuigiri! Volkov stumbled! Zephyr hit the ropes for a springboard. Volkov caught him! Bear hug! Zephyr fought free with elbows, landed on the apron, and hit a springboard dropkick that rocked Volkov!
Meanwhile, Dead Eyez lifted Tommy Vance. He carried him toward the ropes. Vance raked the eyes! Burning Hammer attempt! Dead Eyez slipped free! COP KILLA! Vance was destroyed! Dead Eyez picked him up and dumped him over the top rope!
Tommy Vance eliminated by Dead Eyez.
Three left. Dead Eyez. Zephyr Vance. Alexei Volkov.
Volkov and Dead Eyez stared at each other. Two immovable forces. They collided in the center of the ring. Forearms. Uppercuts. The building shook. Dead Eyez rocked Volkov with a headbutt. Volkov responded with a knee lift.
Zephyr saw his chance. He climbed the turnbuckle. 450 SPLASH ONTO BOTH MEN! All three went down! The crowd was on their feet!
Zephyr recovered first. He went for Volkov. Dropkick sent the Russian into the ropes but didn't go over. Volkov hung on. Zephyr charged. Volkov back-dropped him! Zephyr landed on the apron! He was still alive! Zephyr went for a springboard. Volkov caught him again! This time, Volkov walked him to the ropes. Zephyr fought with everything. Elbows. Knees. He slipped free and landed on the apron again!
Dead Eyez came from behind. He shoved Volkov into the ropes where Zephyr was standing! Zephyr stumbled! Volkov grabbed the top rope to steady himself, and as he bounced back, Dead Eyez clotheslined him OVER THE TOP! Volkov's feet hit the floor!
Alexei Volkov eliminated by Dead Eyez.
FINAL TWO: Dead Eyez and Zephyr Vance.
The crowd was split. Zephyr, the reformed heel on a redemption arc, speed and heart. Dead Eyez, the silent street fighter who just wants to fight, power and brutality.
Zephyr hit the ropes. Running forearm! Dead Eyez absorbed it. Another! Dead Eyez stepped back but didn't fall. Zephyr hit a third! Dead Eyez caught him! Powerbomb attempt! Zephyr reversed into a hurricanrana that sent Dead Eyez into the ropes!
Dead Eyez hung on. Barely.
Zephyr climbed the turnbuckle. He pointed at the Television Championship hanging on display. The crowd roared. VANCE-ICATION (630 SPLASH)! DEAD EYEZ MOVED! Zephyr crashed and burned!
Dead Eyez stalked him. Waited. Zephyr pulled himself up on the ropes. Dead Eyez charged. Zephyr ducked! Dead Eyez hit the ropes and bounced back. Zephyr went for a springboard crossbody. Dead Eyez CAUGHT HIM IN MIDAIR.
Dead Eyez held Zephyr over the top rope. Zephyr fought. Punches. Elbows. Anything to break free. Dead Eyez didn't flinch. One final shove. Zephyr tumbled over the top rope and crashed to the floor.
Zephyr Vance eliminated by Dead Eyez.
Winner and INAUGURAL UWA Television Champion: DEAD EYEZ
The bell rang. The arena fell silent for one beat, then EXPLODED.
Dead Eyez stood alone in the ring. He didn't celebrate. He didn't pose. He didn't scream. Judge Morgan entered the ring and presented the UWA Television Championship. Dead Eyez took it. Looked at it. Strapped it around his waist.
Then he grabbed a microphone. His voice was flat. Emotionless. Like always.
"They told me this is the fighting champion's title. Good. I'll fight anyone. Any brand. Any time. That's the deal. You want this?" He held up the championship. "Come take it. But understand something. I spent four years locked in a cage for something I didn't do. I'm never losing again. Not in there. Not in here."
He dropped the mic and walked out. No fanfare. No celebration. Just a man with a championship and a promise.
Zephyr Vance, still on the floor outside, nodded as Dead Eyez walked past him. Respect. The reformed heel came up short, but his journey continues.
Alexei Volkov watched from the ramp, arms crossed. He'd been eliminated, but he'd cleared the ring of two cheaters and proven his new path was real. The future is bright for the reformed Russian Bear.
Attendance: 2,300 at the 2300 Arena (Sold Out)
Rating Notes: HISTORIC NIGHT. Dead Eyez crowned inaugural UWA Television Champion. Alexei Volkov's babyface run continues (eliminated both heel cheaters). Valentina Reyes debuted in person, challenged Rosa Guerrera for April PPV. Young Hounds demanded ALL tag championships at April PPV. Victor Stone making suspicious phone calls. Captain Maximum fell to Volkov in a respectful contest.
PW:NEO: Paradigm Shift
Chicago, IL — Wednesday, March 25, 2026
Opening Segment: "The Ace Speaks"
Akira Tanaka entered to a thunderous ovation, the NEO Championship around his waist. At 44 years old, three successful defenses. The veteran was proving that experience and technique could overcome everything.
"Three defenses. Zephyr Vance. David Fish. Kyle Phoenix. I defeated them all. Not because I'm the strongest. Not because I'm the fastest. Because I understand this sport better than anyone alive."
Silence. Then, slow clapping from the entrance ramp.
Preston Alexander walked out. The schemer. The manipulator. The man from XXCW who always found an angle.
Alexander: "Beautiful speech, Akira. Really. Brought a tear to my eye. But let's talk about reality. You're 44 years old. Every defense takes more out of you. Every match costs you a little more recovery time. And me? I'm in my prime. I'm faster. I'm smarter. And I've been waiting for the right moment."
Tanaka: "You want a championship match?"
Alexander: "I want THE championship match. April. The pay-per-view. Me versus you. And when I beat you, I won't be sentimental about it. I'll just take your title and move on."
Tanaka: "You want to challenge me? Fine. But you don't get a championship match by talking. You earn it. Tonight, you wrestle. If you win, you get your match at April."
Alexander: "Against who?"
Tanaka smiled: "Zephyr Vance."
Alexander's smirk faded. Zephyr, the former champion who's been wrestling clean and earning everything the hard way. That's not an easy match for a man who relies on shortcuts.
Backstage: David Fish was in the training area with Kenjiro Ishida, the young Accord Initiative rookie. Fish was showing him submission chains, how to flow from one hold to the next. "You have natural instincts, kid. But instincts without technique get you hurt. Let me show you something." He locked in a modified wristlock. "See how my weight shifts? That's fifteen years of learning where to put pressure. You can't fake experience. You can only build it." Kenjiro nodded, absorbing every word. The mentor era of David Fish has begun.
Match One: Women's Division
Mia Chen vs. Monica Cruz
Non-Title Match
Mia Chen looked different. No clipboard. No tablet. No pre-match notes. She walked to the ring with her hands taped and her jaw set. This was the new Mia.
Monica Cruz, a Consortium member, tried to control the pace with dirty tactics. Hair pulls. Eye rakes. Distractions from ringside. The old Mia would have been calculating counters. The new Mia just FOUGHT.
Cruz attempted a running bulldog. Mia sidestepped on instinct, not calculation. Snap suplex! Cruz scrambled up. Mia hit a spinning backfist she'd NEVER used before! Cruz was rocked!
Cruz went for a roll-up with the tights. Mia kicked out at one and immediately transitioned into a cross-armbreaker! Cruz tapped!
Winner: Mia Chen via submission (7:41)
Mia stood, flexing her hands. Something was different. She wasn't analyzing the match in her head. She was feeling it. Jade Kwan watched from the monitor backstage, eyebrow raised. "That's not the Mia I beat at Battlelines. She's evolving."
Match Two: NEO Women's Championship
Jade Kwan (c) vs. Dottie Dread
NEO Women's Championship
Dottie Dread, the Red Letter Society member, earned this shot with consistent performances. Her chaotic, unpredictable style had given Jade problems before.
But Jade was a different champion now. She'd evolved at Battlelines, learning to be unpredictable herself. When Dottie went for her usual wild offense, Jade was ready with counters she'd never shown before.
Dottie hit a running senton! Cover! ONE! TWO! Jade kicked out! Dottie went for a moonsault! Jade moved! Kwan Lock attempt! Dottie scrambled to the ropes!
The crowd was invested. Dottie fought with everything. Enzuigiri! Jade stumbled! Dottie hit the ropes. Jade caught her with a modified crossface out of nowhere! A new submission! Dottie fought for thirty seconds, reaching for the ropes, but Jade cranked the hold!
Dottie tapped!
Winner: Jade Kwan via submission (11:52) — TITLE RETAINED
Jade retained with a submission she'd never used before. The evolved champion continues to grow. Mia Chen will have her work cut out for her when they eventually meet again.
Backstage Confrontation: Paul Sterling burst into High Society's locker room. Sebastian Grey and Montgomery Black were sitting with ice packs, Grey nursing his ribs from the battle royal on Monday.
Sterling: "Grey. Cute performance Monday night. Cheating your way into a battle royal and still losing. That's High Society for you. All shortcuts, no substance."
Grey: "Watch your mouth, Sterling. Where's your partner? Oh, right. He's on crutches."
Sterling stepped closer. "Grant Williams will be cleared for the April pay-per-view. And when he is, we're coming for those tag team championships. The Foundation is built on hard work. Not loaded elbow pads and tights-pulling."
Black: "Grant Williams can barely walk."
Sterling: "Grant Williams has more fight on one leg than both of you combined. April. Tag Team Championships. Be ready."
He left. Grey and Black exchanged a worried glance. The Foundation is coming back.
Match Three: Technical Championship
Shinji Nakamura (c) vs. Hiro Hasegawa
Technical Championship
With William Crane permanently removed from title contention, new challengers are emerging. Hiro Hasegawa, a fellow Japanese technician, brought a style that could match Nakamura's ground game.
This was pure grappling. Wristlocks into arm drags into single-leg takedowns. The crowd appreciated every transition. Hasegawa locked in a heel hook! Nakamura grimaced but rolled through into a kneebar! Hasegawa reached the ropes!
Back and forth for fifteen minutes. Hasegawa went for a bridging German suplex! ONE! TWO! Nakamura kicked out! Nakamura fired back with a rolling elbow! Hasegawa wobbled!
Flying armbar! Nakamura's signature! Hasegawa fought the extension, tucking his arm. But Nakamura's technique was too precise. He straightened the arm. Hasegawa tapped!
Winner: Shinji Nakamura via submission (14:08) — TITLE RETAINED
Five successful defenses for the Technical Champion. Nakamura helped Hasegawa up afterward. "You pushed me further than anyone since Crane. Come back stronger." The Technical Championship division is thriving.
Main Event: #1 Contender's Match
Preston Alexander vs. Zephyr Vance
Winner Earns NEO Championship Match at April PPV
Zephyr entered to a massive ovation. Two days after losing the Television Championship battle royal, he was back. No complaints. No excuses. Just ready to compete.
Alexander entered with a smirk. He'd been studying Zephyr. He knew the reformed heel wouldn't cheat, which meant Alexander could.
Early on, Alexander controlled with underhanded tactics. Eye poke behind the referee's back. Pulling Zephyr into the exposed turnbuckle pad he'd loosened before the match. A low blow when the ref was checking on a rope break. Classic Alexander.
But Zephyr wouldn't stay down. He kept fighting clean. Dropkick. Superkick. Running forearm. Every time Alexander cheated, Zephyr responded with pure wrestling. The crowd was firmly behind him.
Alexander hit a DDT on the exposed turnbuckle! Zephyr's head bounced off the steel! Cover! ONE! TWO! ZEPHYR KICKED OUT! The arena exploded!
Alexander couldn't believe it. He went for a low blow again. This time, the referee SAW IT. Warning issued. Alexander argued. Zephyr recovered. Alexander turned around. SUPERKICK! Alexander stumbled into the ropes! Zephyr charged! Alexander pulled down the top rope! Zephyr tumbled to the outside!
Alexander went to the outside. He grabbed Zephyr and slammed him into the ring post. Then he reached under the ring and pulled out a steel chain. He wrapped it around his fist. The referee was checking on something at the announcer's table.
Alexander swung. Zephyr ducked! The chain hit the ring post! Alexander's hand exploded in pain! Zephyr grabbed him! Rolled him into the ring! Standing moonsault! Cover!
ONE! TWO! THRE... ALEXANDER GOT HIS FOOT ON THE ROPE!
Zephyr climbed the turnbuckle. Vance-ication (630 splash)! Alexander moved! Zephyr crashed! Alexander rolled him up! Feet on the ropes for leverage! ONE! TWO! THE REFEREE SAW THE FEET! He stopped the count!
Alexander screamed at the referee. Zephyr recovered. Small package! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner: Zephyr Vance via pinfall (16:33)
ZEPHYR VANCE IS GOING TO THE APRIL PPV! He'll face Akira Tanaka for the NEO Championship!
The crowd was euphoric. Zephyr's redemption arc reaches its next chapter. He lost the title to Tanaka at Kingdom Come. He lost the Television Championship battle royal on Monday. But he kept fighting, kept earning, and now he has another shot at the NEO Championship.
Akira Tanaka appeared on the entrance ramp, championship over his shoulder. He nodded at Zephyr. No words needed. The veteran and the reformed prodigy will meet again.
Alexander sat in the ring, furious. Every scheme had failed. The cheater was outsmarted by a man who refused to take shortcuts.
Attendance: 4,891 at Wintrust Arena
Rating Notes: Zephyr Vance earned NEO Championship rematch vs Akira Tanaka at April PPV. Jade Kwan retained Women's Championship with new submission technique. Shinji Nakamura's fifth successful Technical Championship defense. Mia Chen debuting new instinct-based fighting style. David Fish mentoring Kenjiro Ishida. Foundation vs High Society for Tag Championships confirmed for April PPV. Preston Alexander's cheating couldn't overcome Zephyr's clean wrestling.
REIGN: Ascension
Los Angeles, CA — Friday, March 27, 2026
Opening Segment: "The Contract"
A table sat in the center of the ring. Two chairs. Two contracts. Cameron Grayson's REIGN World Championship resting on the table between them.
Cameron Grayson entered first. Hard hat. Work boots. Championship earned through blood and sweat. The YouTube Theater gave him a standing ovation.
Baron Victor Ashford entered next. Three-piece suit. Pocket square. The Crown Jewels flanking him. Everything about him screamed money, privilege, and entitlement.
Ashford: "Cameron. Let's dispense with the theatrics. I earned this opportunity."
Grayson: "Earned? You used brass knuckles."
Ashford: "Strategy. Something a man who works with his hands wouldn't understand. You build things, Cameron. I acquire them. And next month, I'm acquiring that championship."
Grayson: "You talk a lot for a guy who needed two bodyguards and a weapon to beat a man who'd already wrestled that night."
Ashford's jaw tightened. "Sign the contract."
Grayson signed without looking. Then he stared directly at Ashford.
Grayson: "At the PPV, there won't be any Crown Jewels at ringside. Diana Cross already confirmed it. No Prince Kai. No Duke Morrison. No brass knuckles. Just you and me. Blue collar versus blue blood. And when I put you down with the Blue Collar Bomb, every trust fund dollar in the world won't buy you a kickout."
Ashford signed the contract, then stood and straightened his tie.
Ashford: "I don't need The Crown Jewels to beat you, Cameron. I chose to bring them because I can. Because I have resources. Because I'm BETTER than you. And at the pay-per-view, I'll prove it."
He extended his hand. Grayson looked at it. The crowd booed. Grayson grabbed the hand, pulled Ashford in, and flipped the table! Ashford scrambled backward! The Crown Jewels rushed the ring!
GM Diana Cross's music hit. "STOP! Nobody touches anyone! This match is signed. Crown Jewels, you are BANNED from ringside at the pay-per-view. If either of you interferes, Baron Ashford forfeits the match AND the Monarchy forfeits the Tag Team Championships. Get out of my ring."
The Monarchy retreated. Grayson held up the championship. The battle lines are drawn.
Match One: REIGN Women's Championship
Vanessa Page (c) vs. Phoenix Rayne
REIGN Women's Championship
Phoenix Rayne chose REIGN over SHOOT Project. She chose this brand. This championship. This moment. The crowd was firmly behind her.
Vanessa was arrogant from the start, posing between moves, mocking Phoenix's "loyalty" to a brand that "doesn't appreciate her." But Phoenix was FIRED UP. Running clothesline! Snap suplex! Spinning backfist that sent Vanessa reeling!
Phoenix controlled the first ten minutes. She had Vanessa in trouble multiple times. Powerbomb! Cover! ONE! TWO! Vanessa grabbed the rope! Phoenix went for another powerbomb. Vanessa raked the eyes! Low dropkick to the knee! Phoenix stumbled!
Vanessa went to work on the knee. Dragon screw leg whip. Figure four. Phoenix screamed but refused to tap. She reversed the figure four! Vanessa scrambled to the ropes!
Both women exhausted. Phoenix pulled herself up. She loaded the spinning backfist. Vanessa ducked! Empire State of Mind attempt! Phoenix blocked! Small package! ONE! TWO! Vanessa kicked out!
Phoenix went to the top rope. The crowd was on their feet. She leaped.
CHELSEA BLAKE appeared from the crowd. She grabbed Phoenix's ankle on the top rope! Phoenix stumbled! Vanessa capitalized! EMPIRE STATE OF MIND! Cover! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner: Vanessa Page via pinfall (14:18) — TITLE RETAINED
Chelsea Blake slid into the ring and ATTACKED Phoenix Rayne! The Problem Solver on Phoenix! Blake stood over her, seething.
Blake: "You get title shots? YOU? I've been here since day one! I beat you TWICE! And you get the opportunities? Not anymore! I'm done waiting!"
Vanessa Page watched from the ramp, championship in hand, smirking. She didn't help Blake. She didn't need to. The damage was done.
Chelsea Blake has turned. Weeks of frustration over being overlooked while Phoenix Rayne received Women's Championship opportunities have boiled over. Phoenix stayed REIGN for this, and now Blake has made her pay for it.
Backstage: Judge James Morgan stood with GM Diana Cross. "Diana, I have an announcement for tonight regarding the April pay-per-view. The UWA World Championship will be defended. And I've selected Holden Nobody's challenger." Diana: "Who?" Morgan: "A former UWA World Champion. A man who held that title with pride. A man who lost it in an epic match at Kingdom Come. Avalanche Anderson." Diana nodded. "He'll be thrilled." Morgan: "He should be. This is his chance at redemption. And Holden Nobody's greatest test as champion."
Match Two: UWA Television Championship — First Defense
Dead Eyez (c) vs. Lucas Kane
UWA Television Championship — Open Challenge
Dead Eyez had been champion for four days. He walked to the ring with the title over his shoulder, expressionless. He grabbed a mic.
"Open challenge. Right now. Anyone."
Lucas Kane answered. The powerhouse who lost to Dead Eyez in the qualifier. He wanted revenge.
Kane came out swinging. Clothesline! Powerslam! He was aggressive, trying to overwhelm the new champion before he could settle. Cover! ONE! TWO! Dead Eyez powered out!
Kane went for Lights Out (running big boot). Dead Eyez caught the foot. He stared at Kane. No emotion. Then he swept the other leg, mounted Kane, and rained down forearms. Ground and pound. The referee almost stopped it.
Kane recovered with a desperation headbutt. Both men staggering. Kane hit the ropes. Dead Eyez ducked. COP KILLA! Cover! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner: Dead Eyez via pinfall (6:58) — TITLE RETAINED
First defense. Successful. Dead Eyez strapped the championship around his waist and walked out. No celebration. No promo. The fighting champion simply fights and wins.
Match Three: Six-Man Tag
The Accord Initiative (Kade Anderson & Leo Noctis) & Avalanche Anderson vs. The Monarchy (Baron Victor Ashford, Prince Kai & Duke Morrison)
Six-Man Tag Team Match
The anti-Monarchy alliance has formed. Kade and Leo, who've been screwed by The Monarchy repeatedly, teamed with the man Ashford cheated to beat last week. Avalanche was ready for payback.
The Crown Jewels tried their usual cheating. Prince Kai went for brass knuckles. The referee caught him and ejected the weapon! Duke Morrison attempted a low blow on Leo. Leo scouted it and countered with a dropkick!
Without their shortcuts, The Monarchy was exposed. Kade Anderson hit a spinebuster on Morrison! Leo Noctis hit a shooting star press on Kai! And Avalanche? Avalanche DESTROYED Baron Ashford. Corner splashes. Powerslams. Ashford was ragdolled.
Ashford tried to flee. Grayson's words echoed: "Just you and me." Avalanche caught him. AVALANCHE DROP! Cover! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winners: The Accord Initiative & Avalanche Anderson via pinfall (12:44)
The Monarchy has been beaten clean! No brass knuckles. No cheating. Just a straight fight, and they LOST.
Avalanche stood tall. Then Judge Morgan's music hit. The RCE Advisor walked to the ring.
Morgan: "Avalanche Anderson. At Kingdom Come, you lost the UWA World Championship to Holden Nobody in one of the greatest main events I've ever seen. You shook his hand. You showed class. And you've continued to compete with honor ever since." He paused. "At our April pay-per-view, Holden Nobody will defend the UWA World Championship against a cross-brand challenger. And I've decided that challenger... is you."
The crowd erupted. Avalanche's eyes went wide. He grabbed the mic.
Avalanche: "I've been waiting for this. Holden Nobody beat me fair and square at Kingdom Come. I respected him then. I respect him now. But that UWA World Championship was MINE. And I want it back. Holden, if you're watching, know this: I'm not coming to shake your hand. I'm coming to take back what's mine."
Holden Nobody appeared on the screen from the 2300 Arena, both championships visible.
Holden: "Avalanche. You're the toughest man I've ever faced. You hit harder than Volkov. You're more relentless than Sterling. And you nearly broke me at Kingdom Come." He held up the UWA World Championship. "But I won. And I'll win again. Because this title represents everyone who was told they'd never be good enough. I can't let them down. See you in April."
The screen went black. It's official. Holden Nobody vs. Avalanche Anderson for the UWA World Championship at the April PPV.
Main Event: Champion's Showcase
Cameron Grayson (c) vs. WOLF MAN
Non-Title Match
The REIGN World Champion wanted to send a message to Ashford. WOLF MAN, the former Horizon Champion, was the perfect opponent. Tough. Unpredictable. Dangerous.
WOLF MAN bit Grayson's hand early. Classic WOLF MAN. Grayson responded with a headbutt that stunned the wild man. Back and forth brawl. Shoulder tackles. Clotheslines. Power moves.
WOLF MAN hit Full Moon Rising (spinning uranage)! Cover! ONE! TWO! Grayson kicked out! WOLF MAN went for another! Grayson slipped behind! BLUE COLLAR BOMB! Cover! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner: Cameron Grayson via pinfall (13:22)
Grayson stood in the ring, championship raised. He looked directly at the camera.
"Ashford. No Crown Jewels. No brass knuckles. No excuses. April. I'll be ready."
Baron Ashford watched from a private box above the arena, jaw clenched. His confidence was cracking. For the first time, he looked uncertain. The blue-collar champion is coming for him, and this time there's nowhere to hide.
Attendance: 8,412 at the YouTube Theater
